We believe reaching out into our community is something that God calls us to do in order to share His love and give Him glory.
Below are a few of the yearly outreach programs we provide for our community.
Fall Event
Free family event is always the Sunday of or before Halloween. Families from the church dress up and decorate their trunks to pass out candy in the church parking lot. We provide a great time for children in our church and in the neighborhood to dress up and have a great night of fun! We also provide hot chocolate and a fire pit if the evening is cold and food for those who come hungry!
Winter Event
This is a great night as our church sets up a huge screen for the biggest football game of the year! We have a wonderful time together as we combine this event with a chili cook off! Come enjoy plenty of food, bring your favorite side dish, or make a chili and enter it into the contest! Prizes are given throughout the evening! We also have a screen for video games and other fun activities for children (or adults) who don’t care to watch the game the whole time.
Spring Event
Free community event for the family is the first Saturday in May. We have plenty of games to play, all afternoon. Children play the games for free and earn tickets. With those tickets the children are able to go on the bouncers, buy food, do the cake walk, or buy prizes. Again, it’s all free!
Summer Event
Vacation Bible School is free to the community. It is for ages 3 – going into 6th grade. VBS runs in the evenings Sunday through Thursday with a Family Picnic on Friday and is typically in the middle of July. Our church family loves to serve in and run VBS! The look of our church completely changes to the theme for each year. More importantly it is another opportunity to share about the love of Christ!
